"The Art of Photography" is a 12 week long workshop / short course in photography conducted by National award winning photographer, André Jeanpierre Fanthome.
One of 3 photographers to have received the National Academy Award for Visual Art, Andre lives and works out of New Delhi and Lucknow, in India. While his commercial work revolves around Architecture, hospitality and Industrial stuff, his personal work is a palette of varied subjects and always changing. Teaching and mentoring young photographers in the hope that it will help them improve their work is something that has always been high on his bucket list.
The 'Art of Photography' course is a culmination of that dream. The main objective of this course is not to get caught in the fine technicalities of 'how to use a camera'/light/exposure/etc etc...although those will be covered too, but to look at the world afresh.
The key is to help you look at the world from a new vantage point - through your camera lens and appreciate the art that is omnipresent and all around us.
After all, Art is what we make it to be.
